Beach Ready Leg Workout

If you are feeling cold and want the quickest exercises to warm up, the best option is to focus on the lower body where our biggest muscles are. The muscles of the legs are the largest in the body so you will tend to warm up faster if you focus on them rather than your arms. It also helps to incorporate exercises that incorporate a lot of combined movements which means your body has to work harder to move the muscles. This will make the heart beat faster, keep you warmer, and ultimately lead to sexy legs!! Just in time to hit the beach when Spring arrives.

This body weight leg workout can be done anytime, anywhere, so why not try it right now?

Perform each move for 60 seconds, with no break in between. When finished the circuit, rest for up to 1 minute then repeat the circuit. Repeat this process for both circuits (10 minutes each circuit).

 

Circuit One

1. Butt kicks
2. Squat to knee lift
3. Double dip squats (squat, come up half way, go down again, then up)
4. Alternating lunges

5. Squat kicks

Circuit Two
1. Lunge to knee lift (right side only)
2. Lunge to knee lift (left side only)
3. Alternating side lunges
4. Skaters
5. Hip lifts
